I recently tried the Yonex AC402DX Towel Grip o n my badminton racket and it’s been a solid upgrade compared to standard grips. Right away, the 100% cotton towel material feels soft and comfortable in hand, and it really helps absorb sweat during intense rallies — I noticed much less slipping, especially when my palms got sweaty. Installation was easy and the grip wraps nicely around the handle without adding too much bulk. The feel isn’t tacky like a rubber grip, but that’s expected for a towel grip — it’s more about moisture control and comfort than sticky friction. Durability seems good so far. Even after several sessions, it hasn’t frayed or lost shape. My only minor observation is that if you sweat very heavily, the cotton can feel pretty wet — but it still performs better than non-towel grips in those conditions. Overall, for players who struggle with grip slipping due to sweat or want a comfortable, absorbent alternative to synthetic grips, this towel grip gets the job done and feels great in play.
