The Yonex Astrox 100ZZ features a modified version of the rotational generator system/hybrid functions, which represents the core technology in the Yonex Astrox series.
This means that the racquet would deliver a very powerful smash as a head heavy racquet would, whilst being able to better counter balance the racquet weight via a redesigned weight distribution system. The end result is you'll never feel the racquet's head weight when you're not swinging the racquet. You'll also be able to recover much quicker after each shot.
Hyper Slim Shaft with NAMD graphite
The Astrox 100ZZ has the slimmest shaft ever in the Yonex badminton racquet line-up.
This not only improves the aerodynamics, it also makes it easier to flex the Extra Stiff shaft of the 100ZZ, as the hollow section in the centre of the shaft shrinks smaller.
The NAMD graphite in the racquet shaft flex further and snaps back quicker, producing a steeper angle for your shots.
Expanded Sweet Spot via a Modified Frame Shape
The Astrox 100ZZ has a compact frame. However this does not make the racquet unfriendly to use. The new modified frame shape makes the inner part of the racquet frame appear to be 'square' at the 3,6,9 and 12 o clock area.
This enhances the sweet spot of the Astrox 100ZZ, making it much easier to play.
Improved Butt Cap
The new butt cap of the Yonex Astrox 100ZZ makes it more comfortable for your thumb to rest on it.
The improved shape of the butt cap also helps transmit more power to your shots. This usually refers to better quality backhand serves and drives.

This is a guide for those who are not sure of your stringing tension, based on average figures for men and women. Higher tension gives you more control, lower tension gives you more power. Higher tension makes the string less durable.
