Yonex Astrox RC (83 grams) Badminton Racquet

Absolute perfect racquet for my self, it’s my second of the Duora 10, not a fault in it

We bought this online for a friend and he likes it very much. Was curious and had a hit with his new duora 10 racquet. Felt good and so solid.

I just love the specs combination on the Duora 10 in terms of stiffness and balance point. Everything just feels right for a regular, competitive game. Its easy to use and doesn't require much time to 'get use' to the racquet. It's like driving an auto transmission car! Great balance of power and control, good for every corner on the court whether its front court, mid court, or the rear court.

Thought I'd give the Duora 10 a go as I have heard a lot of good reviews about this racket. Bought this a month ago and had a few good games with it. Strings are still looks new and tight like new so I have to say stringing job is perfect. Back to the racket, the Duora 10 felt abit heavy compare to other even balance rackets in the Yonex range, but don't get me wrong as this is not a bad thing. At the same time it also produces much more power compared to the other even balanced rackets. Clears are nice and crisp, easy to execute, while drives are bit slow but still OK considering the massive amount of power it delivers with every hit. This is an all rounder so you can use the Duora 10 in both singles and doubles (I use it for doubles and works perfectly fine). I enjoy playing with this racket and looking forward to getting a second piece of Duora 10 once I save up again.

I have been playing doubles for 2 years now and decided to upgrade to the Duora 10 from the Arcsaber 11. The Duora 10 is a more powerful badminton racket compared to the Arcsaber 11. Although I find the Arcsaber 11 an easier racket to use, the Duora actually produces more power for me as my smashes are now getting through my opponent's defences. Maybe my smashes are sharper and steeper now but pretty sure there is more power coming out from the Duora. My final tip is, go for the Duora if you are an intermediate or more 'athletic', as the Duora actually requires you to put in more strength in order to get good power out of it.

I have purchased from Badminton Click in the past directly from their retail shop, but this is the first time buying online from them since they do offer free shipping. Their staff are very friendly in store and I am also impressed with their online service as I received my racket within 2 days of ordering.

I like the even balanced behaviour on the racket. There is much more response on all of my shots. Credit to the string job by Badminton Click as I was told their stringers are Yonex professional stringer, I can really feel the difference. My Duora 10 feels so much nicer than my friend's Duora 10. I highly recommend you string with these guys.
