Head Heavy Balance and Soft Stiffness Rating

The Li Ning AxForce 80 has a head heavy balance. So it gives you more momentum in your swings.

It has a soft stiffness rating for its shaft, therefore being able to produce power with less effort needed.

6.6mm Shaft with PYROFIL from Japan

The shaft of the racquet is thin and aerodynamic at only 6.6mm in diameter. The carbon graphite sheet that wraps around the shaft is called the PYROFIL, made by Mitsubishi in Japan.

M40X Graphite from Japan

The racquet frame also features a graphite called the M40X, made in Japan. This material creates extra repulsion and bounce when hitting the shuttlecock.

Who is this racquet for?

The Axforce 80 is for offensive badminton players.

The Head Heavy attribute and the softer shaft helps in create a user friendly, offensive badminton racquet.

    Great Racket but needs commitment

The racket is beautifully designed and in my opinion, one of the best designed racket in the market.

Despite being marketed as head-heavy, it is still quick and easy to maneuver in defence and drives.

Being a 5U racket means more effort is required for generating power (smashing, clearing, back-hand clears), but when you get the timing right it does generate good power for its weight.

Lastly, depending on the player, this racket will take some commitment before you get produce good performances out of it. It took 8-10 hours of playing with this racket before I started playing really well with it but this will vary from player to player.

    Best Racquet

I love this racket, it has a lot of control and power although it's a 5u. The smashes on this are insanely good for a 5u racket. The beat thing is that any clashes won't chip the racket, the paint job is so delicately done, well done that lining has step up their game !
